- Brainstorm material for your presentation on paper
- Remember to have the presentation rubric in front of you so you can check off each criterion as you address it in your presentation structure

- Create a list of the slides in order in Word or any other word processor
- Each line represents a slide

- Import your word processed document into PowerPoint and format it so each line is on it’s own slide in outline view

- Set the master slide and format look and feel
- Remember high contrast is best, white on black as an example

- Import your PowerPoint into VoiceThread

WARNING! You must save your PowerPoint as a PowerPoint 1997-2003 version or .ppt file first before uploading it. Do this by clicking SAVE AS, then SELECTING the correct option at the bottom of the SAVE AS box.

- Verbally comment over the duration of the slide presentation
- This is practice for your presentation. The more you go over your content and the flow of your storytelling the more comfortable you will be when you do it for real!

- Remember to title your VoiceThread with you name. This makes it easier for the viewer to find your wonderful work.
